Our amazing new Arts Academy offers students the opportunity to be taught by specialist teachers in the fields of Visual & Digital Art (Visual Arts, Photography and Media), and Musical Theatre (Music, Drama and Dance), all in the surrounds of our brand new state-of-the-art Arts Centre.

Arts Scholarships are available to students entering Year 5, 7 and 10-12 at CGS at the beginning of the school year and will apply for the duration of the student's time in their relevant sub-School:

Primary Program: Years 5-6

Junior Secondary Program: Years 7-9

Senior Secondary  Program: Years 10-12

Scholarship and Academy acceptance is awarded to students demonstrating technical skill and an inherent interest in developing through the Arts. Talented candidates are invited to apply, with scholarships being awarded to the student demonstrating the highest ability in the above-mentioned fields at each entry level. Scholarships can be achieved in 3 categories, with the maximum discount shown below:

Category A: 50% fee reduction

Category B: 25% fee reduction

Category C: No fee reduction, acceptance into Academy including participation in extension class

This scholarship provides up to 50% reduction of tuition fees for the duration of the scholarship period. The continuation of this scholarship and placement in the Academy is subject to acceptable achievement and positive contribution to the ethos of the school, including a commitment to the co-curricular program. This is reviewed on an annual basis.

Who can apply:

This scholarship is open to current Court Grammar School students as well as potential future students. Students in Year 4, 6 and 9, 10 & 11 in 2024 can apply to audition/submit a portfolio for 2025 entry into the Academy.

Applications for 2025 are now open.

Complete the online form no later than the closing date below. If external students wish to apply, a School application form must be submitted at the same time.

Musical Theatre: Online form (and School application form for new students) to be submitted to school office or via email.

Visual & Digital Arts: Online application form (and School application form for new students), as well as digital portfolio to be submitted to school office or via email -Hard copies will not be accepted.

Digital portfolio to be sent prior to Friday 26 April. (late submissions will not be accepted)
