Year 12 Outdoor Education: Cape to Cape Track

Secondary School

Last week, our Year 12 Outdoor Education students took their learning beyond the classroom on an unforgettable expedition along the Cape to Cape Track, journeying from Cape Naturaliste to Gracetown.

Students challenged themselves physically and mentally through bushwalking, teamwork, navigation and an exhilarating 40-metre sea cliff abseil, before making a well-earned stop at Busselton Jetty on the journey back to school.

Experiences like these are at the heart of Outdoor Education. Experiential learning gives students the chance to apply their knowledge, develop resilience, leadership and teamwork, overcome challenges and learn by doing. These are lessons that extend well beyond the classroom and create memories that last a lifetime.

A fantastic few days of challenge, growth, connection and adventure!
