This term in Kindergarten we are inquiring into communities. To begin, we started sharing who the members of our family community are in each of our households.
We then inquired further into what our school community looks like to us. We went for a walk around our school and met with some of Primary and Secondary teachers and members of the leadership team. We used copies of the school map to navigate our way around the school and name the buildings we could see along the way.
Moving forward, we will start to inquire into our local neighbourhoods and what places, buildings, and people we may come across when we visit different neighbourhoods.
