ELC / Primary School Teacher - Part time (0.6FTE)
We are looking for a suitably qualified, highly motivated and enthusiastic Part time (0.6FTE) ELC/ Primary School Teacher to commence with us from Term 3.
We welcome applications from both experienced and recent graduates who are focused on delivering engaging, evidence-based learning, and want to foster a positive classroom environment to support students’ academic and personal growth.
Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will be able to:
Demonstrate their competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers): Professional knowledge: Professional practice; and Professional engagement.
- Have a sound understanding of the current curriculum.
- Use a wide range of pedagogies that enhance student engagement and performance.
- Monitor student progress in accordance with School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) and School guidelines.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in interactions with other staff, students and parents
- Work co-operatively in a team environment, and
- Support the Christian ethos of the school
