English/Drama Secondary School Teacher - Term 3 Start
We are looking for suitably qualified, highly motivated and enthusiastic fulltime English / Drama Teacher in the Secondary School to commence with us from Term 3.
We welcome applications from both experienced and recent graduates who are passionate about wanting to inspire students and deliver high quality and engaging English and Drama Curriculum from Years 7 to 10.
Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will be able to:
Demonstrate their competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers): Professional knowledge; Professional practice; Professional engagement.
- Teach English and Drama in Years 7 to 10
- Have a sound understanding of the current curriculum
- Use a wide range of pedagogies that enhance student engagement and performance.
- Monitor student progress in accordance with School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) and School guidelines.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in interactions with other staff, students and parents
- Work co-operatively in a team environment, and
- Support the Christian ethos of the school
